Last week Apple cut the price of the Series 3 Apple Watch with the announcement of the Series 5. But while Apple didn’t announce new iPad Pro models, they did quietly cut the pricing of the iPad Pro – although only the 1TB models.
The 1TB iPad Pro with either Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + Cellular have has its price lowered by a decent A$200. And applies to both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Meaning prices for these models are now as follows:
- 11-inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi and 1TB storage: A$2,049
- 11-inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi + Cellular and 1TB storage: A2,269
- 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi and 1TB storage: A$2,349
- 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi + Cellular and 1TB storage: A$2,569
Prices get even cheaper if you purchase a Certified Refurbished model from Apple’s online store. These models are approximately 15% more affordable. And come with a full warranty, new battery and outer shell, and Apple’s 14-day free returns policy.
1TB is the maximum internal storage possible, more than enough to store large amounts of photos, videos, and other files. However, with iPadOS, a free upcoming software update, iPad will be compatible with external storage. Including USB-C enabled thumb drives and storage drives.
The new prices have already gone into effect and have been rolled out to Apple’s Retail Stores and their online store.
