With the unveiling of Apple Watch Series 5, Apple has slashed the prices of the Series 3. By A$80 from its previous price, making the cheapest Apple Watch at just A$319.
While the Series 5 is two generations ahead, the Series 3 will still make a very good watch. Apple goes on to highlight the fact Series 3 can still track and share your activity. And record your workouts and exercise – even in the pool. It can monitor your health and do lots more. And if you buy the GPS + Cellular model – make calls and communicate on the go without an iPhone.
Other features include built-in GPS, up to 18-hours of battery life, fast dual-core processors, and more. WatchOS 6, an upcoming free software update for Apple Watch is also compatiable with Series 3. And is packed with new features and enhancements.
Series 3 is available in two aluminium case sizes and colours. And in two connectivity options – GPS or GPS + Cellular. There are also two Nike models still up for sale with exclusive Nike watch faces and bands.
All models are still compatible with the latest watch bands, even those compatiable with the newer Series 5. The 38-mm Series 3 is compatiable with 40-mm watch bands. While the 42-mm Series 3 is compatiable with 44-mm watch bands.
In Australia, the Apple Watch Series 3 now starts at a Reccomended Retail Price (RRP) of just A$319. A price that is A$80 cheaper than previously and applies from today.
