For the first time, Apple has added the option of laser engraving to AirPods. With all new second-generation AirPods including AirPods with Wireless Charging Case gaining the option.

Laser engraving gives you the option of adding a custom message to the case of your new AirPods during purchasing. Given you are likely to carry them around, therefore, potentially losing them, adding your name would not be a bad idea. After all, It is free, but only available exclusively from Apple’s online store.
