Apple Rundle Place Temporarily closed (Updated)

Due to ‘stay at home‘ orders in South Australia, Apple has had to temporarily close Apple Rundle, its retail store in Adelaide CBD. And will remain closed until further notice, however, products can be ordered from Apple online.

A six-day lockdown was announced yesterday (Wednesday, November 18th) in South Australia to help prevent further community transmission of COVID-19. The restrictions, known as the defined period, began at 12:01 am on November 19th, and ends at 12:01 am on November 25th, 2020.

While some essential services and stores can remain open, such as groceries, petrol stations, pharmacies, and more – retail stores are to close. Therefore, Apple Rundle Place will remain closed at least until restrictions lift.

The closure of the store comes at an important time for Apple with the release of Macs with Apple M1 Chip just this week. And recently, the release of new iPhones, HomePod Mini, and more. But nothing is more important than the health and safety of all of us during the pandemic.

This Christmas many more are expected to shop online, with Apple advising to shop early to get gifts on time. For more information on Apple products or to make a purchase head over to Apple online. More information on the ‘stay at home’ restrictions can be found on the Government of South Australia’s website.

Update: Given the early end to restrictions, Apple Rundle Place has since reopened.
