Apple Premiers Upcoming Apple TV+ Series “See”

One of the most anticipated series of Apple TV+, “See”, was premiered at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood, California. The third premier Apple has held so far for its upcoming video streaming service which launches on November 2nd.

Attending the premiere were the cast, writers, and producers of the show. The cast includes Jason Momoa, Alfre Woodard, Hera Hilmar, Sylvia Hoeks, Christian Camargo, Archie Madekwe, Nesta Cooper and Yadira Guevara-Prip. Steven Knight wrote and created the series, while Francis Lawrence directed it.

“See” takes place in the distant future, after a deadly virus decimated humankind. Those who survived emerged blind. Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss — the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see — who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who wants the twins destroyed. Alfre Woodard stars as Paris, Baba Voss’s spiritual leader.

The series features cast and crew who are blind or have low vision, who helped bring this inclusive and authentic world to life.

According to reports, such as the Wall Street Journal, Apple is spending close to $15 million per episode of “See”. A cost that is relative to the popular and award-winning TV series Game of Thrones.
