Further to the release of iOS 12.3 and tvOS updates, watchOS for Apple Watch has also been issued. A free software update for Apple Watch wearers including the new Apple Watch Series 4.
While at first, the update seemed to be solely bug fixes, it turns out that wasn’t the case. Apple has added new Pride rainbow-themed digital watch faces in the update. There’s a new 2019 Pride Digital watch face and for the first time, Pride Analog watch faces. All featuring a new rainbow coloured striped design which moves when you tap your Apple Watch or raise your wrist.
The Pride Digital watch face remains similar to last years design with a digital clock. But the design now fills the entire display of the Series 4 which features a larger display over previous versions. While the Pride Analog watch face is available in two styles – full-screen and circular. Both of which styled with analogue clock hands.
Previous years has seen Apple put a limited-edition Pride band on sale. Hopefully, we see one eventuate featuring an updated design, but at the time of writing, it is yet to eventuate – if at all.
Apple Watch is available from Apple online in a range of styles. All models include the ability to choose the new Pride watch face, among many more.
