Planning on buying an Apple Watch Series 4 this Christmas? You might want to consider getting your order in soon. This is because there are signs the new models are proving very popular with delivery times growing.
All Apple Watch models are available for purchase from Apple’s online store.
Limited Stock
While the new Series 4 was announced in September, delivery times for most models are extending into early December. It could also be fair to say most have not started their Christmas shopping yet. Making it further possible there will be a last minute rush. Telstra has also posted a note about the limited stock in their new catalogue.
As an example, the Silver Aluminium Apple Watch Series 4 with White Sports Band is estimated for delivery between 29/11/2018 – 06/12/2018. Although the stainless steel version is better off with a delivery time of 22/11/2018 – 29/11/2018. Note those estimates are based at time of writing this article on November 12th, 2018.
It is worth noting it does appear Apple Stores receive regular stock. And with Apple’s In-Store pickup option it is possible to make a purchase online and reserve stock instore. Simply choose the “Pick-up” option on Apple’s website during checkout.
There is no doubt Apple is making as many models as they can. But once again it is providing to be one of the hottest items this Christmas. Likely due to the fact the Series 4 features an updated design and larger screen over previous versions.
Apple Watch Hermes
However, it gets significantly worse for those looking to gift the Apple Watch Hermes edition. Delivery times for most models are already showing a delivery date that extends into 2019!
Apple Watch Series 3
If the Series 4 is hard to come by there is another option – Apple Watch Series 3. It still includes some of the best technology seen in a SmartWatch and is about just as fast as the newer Series 4. Better yet, it is now priced from just A$399, down from A$459.
Apple Watch Series 3 can also be purchased from Apple online. Apple is offering free delivery or in-store pickup and returns on all purchases.
