Apple has revealed a new challenge for those who use Apple Watch around the world. The Earth Day Challange will reward those who complete a workout of at least 30 minutes on April 22nd, 2018 – Earth Day. Those who complete the required workout will receive a virtual special achievement award and a unique sticker pack in iMessage.
Earth Day Challenge
The required Workout can be as simple as a brisk walk or a run. But with the Apple Watch Series 3 for example, it can even be a pool or open-water swim. Apple recently announced Apple Watch can now even track your Ski and Snowboarding runs on the mountain.
The purpose of these special achievements is to encourage motivate movement, exercise, and health. Earlier in the year, Apple ran a New Year Challenge and a Heart Month Challenge in February. Personally, I have been using the Apple Watch to help me get back into better health after being diagnosed with Cancer last year, a story I have shared over on Amvsement.com.
Your Apple Watch achievements can be found in the Activity app on your iPhone. If you don’t own an Apple Watch, you can learn more on Apple Watch plus explore the range at Apple.
