Apple Watch 2018 New Year Activity Challenge

Last updated:

Apple has kicked off the new year by launching a New Year challenge for Apple Watch users, with an exclusive achievement reward.

Called Ring in the New Year Challenge, the limited edition achievement is rewarded to those who close all three Activity Rings for seven days in a row. The challenge is a way of promoting fitness and health for the new year, a heavy focus of the Apple Watch.

Activity Rings

The Activity Rings is a feature of the Apple Watch and represents Move, Exercising, and Stand. Each day you have your own personal goal of closing all three of them.

As you complete these Activity Rings you can earn achievements. These can be anything from finishing your first workout or achieving your goals for a week.

The Ring In The New Year challenge can be found in the Activity app on your iPhone. It is a limited edition reward and you only have the month of January to try and achieve it.

Apple Watch

The third-generation Apple Watch is an amazing health and fitness companion with intelligent coaching features, water resistance 50 meters and a new barometric altimeter that measures relative elevation. Apple Watch Series 3 comes in two models, one with GPS and cellular, and one with GPS, both featuring a 70 percent faster dual-core processor and new wireless chip.

You can explore or buy an Apple Watch from Apple online Australia. All purchases come with free delivery or pick up and 14 day free returns.

  1. I am very dissatisfied with Apple Australia because it wont repair my MacBook Pro 17″
which has a defective GPU. This fault has been known by Apple for as far back as 2013.
There was a recall/repair program in California & Canada in 2016-2016 following litigation there regarding this product fault.
Apple did not notify me re this fault and now refused to supply parts and service to rectify it. This , arguably, contravenes the Australian Trade Practices Act.
