On the eve of the iPhone X release, Apple has summarised what a number of iPhone X reviews from around the world. Highlighting what reviewers have had to say about the new iPhone.
iPhone X Reviews
Reviewers around the globe were given early access to the new iPhone allowing them to share their thoughts on a number of new key features. They covered everything from the new 5.8-inch OLED Super Retina display, the physical size of the phone and more.
“Face ID worked as promised: with sunglasses, without sunglasses, with my hair up, with it down, at night in the dark, or during the day.” – Buzzfeed
Additionally, FaceID, Animoji (animated Emoji) and the new cameras all got a mention.
Some quotes from reviewers include:
- “The OLED display is insanely good. The contrast is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. And the edge to edge/bezel arrangement is stunning. It somehow further humanises the device. I feel like I’m holding my photos and videos…not a device on which to view them.” – Creative Live Blog
- “Face ID is secure, fast, reliable and very easy to use. But even if it is Halloween, you’ll be headed for trouble if you go trying to clone yourself.” – The Wall Street Journal
- “Apple’s implementation of the camera is flawlessly done and THE Animoji are fantastic.” – The Evening Standard
The iPhone X goes on sale around the world tomorrow November 3rd from 8 am – including in Australia. Pricing starts at A$1,579 for 64GB storage and can be purchased from Apple online with free delivery or pickup and 14-day returns.
