iPhone 14 Pro will be very limited in stock this Christmas

Apple has shared an update on the supply of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and the news isn’t good for Christmas shoppers.

The update reads: “COVID-19 restrictions have temporarily impacted the primary iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max assembly facility located in Zhengzhou, China.”. And as a result, the assembly facility is running at “significantly reduced capacity”.

Demand for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models has been in strong demand since their launch in September. This with reduced capacity to make more models means stock will be tight this Christmas.

COVID-19 restrictions have temporarily impacted the primary iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max assembly facility located in Zhengzhou, China. The facility is currently operating at significantly reduced capacity.

Apple

Apple goes on to say: “we now expect lower iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max shipments than we previously anticipated”. And that “customers will experience longer wait times to receive their new products.”.

At the time of writing, most iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models will arrive between December 7th and 14th, 2022. Based on my local postcode of Wollongong, NSW)

If you’re looking at buying an iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max for Christmas, you’d want to get your order in soon!
