An all-new iPad Air has been announced with an Apple M1 Chip, 5G, a new Ultra-Wide camera, and more. The new model is available to order and available in Australia from March 18th, 2022. From a recommended retail price of A$929.

The new iPad Air features much of the same design as the previous model. It is what’s inside that has been upgraded substantially.

Powering the new iPad Air is the M1 Chip, offering better CPU and graphics performance, resulting in a 60% faster CPU and 2x faster graphics. Connectivity gets faster too, as cellular models now support 5G.

In Australia, the new iPad Air range starts at a Recommended Retail Price of A$929, with Wi-Fi connectivity. Wi-Fi + Cellular models start at a Recommended Retail Price of A$1,159.

Apple is offering special pricing on a new iPad Air with their Educational Pricing Offer. Eligible students and teachers can save depending on the model and configuration.

iPad Air is available to order from Apple, including Apple online and selected Apple Authorised Resellers. And will be released on Friday, March 18th, 2022.
