Major League Baseball (MLB) arriving to Apple TV+

Apple will expand Apple TV+, its original video streaming service, into sports for the first time. By offering “Friday Night Baseball” of the Major League Baseball (MLB) series from the US.

In the deal with Major League Baseball, Apple TV+ will offer fans a weekly double-header, complete with live pre-and-post game shows. The games will begin on Friday Nights (US Eastern and Pacific Daylight Time) during the regular season.

It is the first time live sports has become available on Apple TV+. It will come at no extra cost to subscribers. Those who have not subscribed to Apple TV+ will be able to watch the games free, for a limited time.

“Baseball has a special place in the heart of so many Apple customers — not just in the United States, but in many countries around the world. We’re proud to make Apple TV+ the home for great baseball moments throughout the season.”

Peter Stern, Apple’s vice president of Services

“Friday Night Baseball” will be available in selected countries only. The good news… Australia is one of the countries in which it will be available.

Apple TV+ is available on a range of Apple devices, such as iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and more. And non-Apple devices, such as selected Smart TVs, Playstation, Xbox, and many more.
