Sony PlayStation and Apple have teamed up to bring an Apple TV Plus offer, giving six months free subscription. An offer exclusive to those who are lucky enough to own a PlayStation 5 Console.

The Offer
Firstly, what is the offer? Typically Apple offers three (3) months of free Apple TV Plus to new subscribers. Apple TV+ being, of course, Apple’s video streaming service offering a library of new Apple Original Movies and TV Series.
The PlayStation 5 Apple TV Plus offer extends the trial to six (6) months.
Who is eligible, what you need
There are a few things you need to be eligible for the offer. Firstly and perhaps the most obvious – a PlayStation 5 console. A console that is still hard to find online and in retail stores, despite launching in November 2020.
If you are lucky enough to have found and purchased a PlayStation 5 console, then all you need is as follows:
- Apple ID account
- An account for the PlayStation Network
In addition, you need to have the obvious – a good working internet connection.
Subscribed to Apple TV Plus already? Usually, these types of promotions are for new subscribers only. But this offer includes both new and existing subscribers! However, if you are subscribed to Apple TV+ via Apple’s discounted Apple One bundles, unfortunately, you are not eligible.
How to redeem
To redeem the offer simply follow the following steps:
- Find the Apple TV app from your PS5 console’s search bar, or find it under “All apps” in Media home.
- Download and open the Apple TV app and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Sign in with your Apple ID or create an Apple ID if you don’t already have one.
- Enjoy your six free months of Apple TV+
