For a limited time, an ‘International Collection‘ of Apple Watch bands is available for purchased at Apple. Each of which features colours that represent a country, celebrating the competitive spirit of athletes. And while the collection is not official Olympic merchandise, the timing could not be more obvious. The Tokyo Olympic Games will begin on July 23rd, 2021.
The International Collection of Apple Watch Watch bands are available in 22 styles, each representing a country. Australia is one of the countries that does have a represented band, styled in green and gold.
Other countries include Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden and the US.
Each band is based on the popular Sport Loop, made from a soft, breathable, and lightweight material. Each also comes with a free downloadable watch face that can be downloaded by scanning a QR-code on the packaging.
Pricing and Where to Buy
The Limited Edition International Collection of Apple Watch bands are available in two sizes: 40-mm and 44-mm. Each priced at a recommended retail price of A$69.
Apple online is where the bands can be purchases exclusively, and selected Apple Retail Stores. It is unknown at the time of writing if any Australian Apple Retail Stores will be stocking the bands. But given much of the country is in lockdown, buying online is likely safer.
All purchases from Apple include fast, free delivery and 14-day returns.
