Apple shares new ‘Shot on iPhone 12’ photos

Portraits, cityscapes, the night sky, and more

Apple has highlighted the capability of iPhone 12 by sharing a new ‘Shot on iPhone 12’ gallery. Showcasing portraits, cityscapes, night sky, and more. Captured from photographers around the world using iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone 12 Pro.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini both feature a new dual-camera system containing an Ultra Wide and new Wide camera lens. The new wide camera lens has an aperture of ƒ/1.6 which provides 27% more light for improved photos – including low-light environments.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Max also offer an Ultra Wide and Wide lens. But they also contain a third lens, offering a Telephoto camera. iPhone 12 Pro Max takes the pro camera experience even further with a 65 mm focal length Telephoto camera for increased flexibility and 5x optical zoom range, as well as an advanced Wide camera boasting a 47 percent larger sensor with 1.7?m pixels for a massive 87 percent improvement in low-light conditions. A LiDAR Scanner also unlocks advanced capabilities for Pro models, including up to 6x faster autofocus in low-light scenes and the introduction of Night mode portraits.
