If you’re wanting a HomePod Mini for Christmas but haven’t ordered yet, you may have missed out. Because shipping times on new orders on Apple’s online store is now scheduled to arrive a late as December 23rd.
HomePod Mini was unveiled in October during the iPhone keynote with key features including 360-degree sound, Siri, ability to control smart home accessories, and more. And there is also the ability to have multiple HomePod Mini speakers around your home to bring multiroom audio.
Perhaps a reason for the extended delivery times is the price. In Australia, HomePod Mini is priced at just A$149 – far more affordable than the bigger HomePod at A$469. Meaning you can get three HomePod Mini’s for the price of one HomePod. Though the larger HomePod speaker does have features and additional tech over the HomePod Mini.
At the time of writing, Space Grey HomePod Mini is seeing longer delivery at 4-6 weeks. While the White HomePod Mini has a slightly shorter delivery time at 4-5 weeks.
However, HomePod Mini will be available at selected Apple Authorised Resellers when it is available on November 16th. Including JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Harvey Norman, and more. There is no doubt stock will be limited for the remainder of the year, but it may be possible to get hold of one.
