Customers who purchase on Apple’s online store now have the option to choose same-day delivery. After Apple launched immediate delivery in Australia to selected areas around Broadway in Sydney. With plans to roll out to more areas in the future.
Apple’s same-day immediate delivery option allows a customer to schedule a courier delivery. Then later in the checkout process, choose a date and time – even the same day as the order. But it does come at a cost of A$15 per order.
Products must be in stock at the Apple Retail Store (for example, Apple Broadway) before they are sent out. And when they do, a notification will be sent when the driver has left. Then when the driver is within 500 metres of the location.
Selected areas around Apple Broadway in Sydney are within the delivery area. But Apple plans on slowly rolling out the option to other areas around Australia.
