Apple Retail Stores Reopening Around Australia

Apple Chadstone Retail Store Australia

Apple has announced its retail stores will reopen in Australia starting from Thursday, May 7th. After being closed in March to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 around the community. However, Apple Sydney will remain closed as it is still undergoing major redevelopments.

While its stores will reopen, there will be several restrictions and reduced hours set. As well as temperature checks, social distancing, and more.

In a statement to Bloomberg, Apple has said:

“To start, we will open with additional safety procedures including temperature checks, social distancing and an adjusted schedule, to ensure customers and employees continue to stay healthy,”.

“Our social distance protocol means a limited number of visitors in the store at one time so there may be a delay for walk-in customers.”

Stores will also have special hours, to begin with. For example, Apple Bondi will open at 10 am, but close at 5 pm, earlier than its usual closing time.

Despite stores reopening, Apple still recommends shopping for its products on its online store. As always, they are offering free fast delivery and returns around Australia.

When are Apple Retail Stores reopening?

Every store will reopen from Thursday, May 7th, with the exception of Apple Sydney.
