One of the most popular ‘buy now pay later’ services, Zip is now available at Apple. After a partnership between Apple and Zip recently in Australia. Offering more way to buy, including interest-free purchasing.
The option to buy an Apple product and pay with Zip Pay or Zip Money can be done from Apple’s online store. But isn’t available at Apple Retail Stores (which remain closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic around the world). And all payments with Zip must be made by calling Apple on 133 622.
Monthly instalments are required, but how much you need to pay will depend on the offer at the time you purchase. Throughout the year Apple does make changes to its offers when it comes to financing. The current offer, due to end April 29th is as follows:
- 0% interest 6 months ($1 to $499)
- 0% interest 12 months ($500 and over)
Terms and conditions do apply and there is a monthly account keeping free with Zip. Other financing partners continue to be available including Latitude Cards. AfterPay, the main competitor to Zip continues to not be available.
To see the latest financing offer or to make a purchase, head over to Apple’s online store.
Update
While Apple continues to offer financing, it appears the Zip financing offer was for a limited time. And since this article was posted, the option of ZipPay has been removed from Apple’s website.
