Apple’s Online Store Remaining Open, But Delivery Only

Over the weekend Apple’s CEO Tim Cook shared a statement on Apple’s response to the ongoing Coronavirus situation. One of them is the closure of all Apple Retail Stores around Australia and the rest of the world outside of China. But their online store remains open, accepting orders with delivery.

Many businesses are now having their employees work from home, while many others are in isolation for 14-days. Around the world, this has seen an increase in some purchases such as iPads and Mac Computers. The demand has seen some delivery times extend, but reportedly China is getting on top of production.

Purchasing Apple products is still possible from Apple’s online store – even during the closure of its retail stores. All purchases made online can only be delivered, with the option for in-store pickup temporarily unavailable.

Additionally, Today at Apple and Personal Setup sessions are not available until stores reopen.
