University students who have an active Apple Music Student Plan now get Apple TV+ for free. Apple states that all Apple TV+ content is available to any student who has an Apple Music Student Plan. Saving them A$7.99 a month for the duration of their plan. But the subscription will not extend to other family members for those who have Family Sharing.
The Apple Music Student Plan, which has been available for sometime, offers students an Apple Music subscription at just A$5.99 a month. This is 50% cheaper then the standard A$11.99 month cost. Meaning all up students are saving about A$14 a month.
The Apple Music Student Plan for university students now comes with free access to original shows and movies from Apple TV+
In addition to this offer, Apple also gives special pricing to University students and teachers on a new Mac and iPad. With up to A$300 off a new Mac, A$30 off iPad, and A$80 off a new iPad Pro.
Apple TV+ launched on Saturday and features several new and exclusive Apple original shows, movies, and documentaries. At launch there are eight titles which include “Morning Wars”, “See”, “For All Mankind”, and more.
