Apple has updated its returns policy in time for Christmas shopping. By greatly extending the time you can initiate a return on items purchased on the Apple online store. Extending it from the standard 14-days to January 8th, 2020.
This year, all orders made between November 15 and December 25th, 2019 can be returned free until January 8th, 2020. An offer that is exclusive to Apple and takes away the worry and stress of buying a gift.
Just about all items on the online store can be returned and include some of the most popular products this Christmas. These include the Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Macs. To AirPods and AirPods Pro, HomePod, and more.
Items purchased on the Apple Online Store that are received between 15 November 2019 and 25 December 2019 may be returned up until 8 January 2020.

In my opinion, Apple’s Christmas returns policy is quite generous. It allows you to buy knowing you can easily make a free return. But also give you the chance to possibly try out a product. For example, you can purchase AirPods and if you find you don’t like the sound quality or they don’t fit comfortable – you can return them.
Making A Return
Initiating a return is very simple once the product has been delivered and invoice to you. Simply follow the following steps:
- Go to online Self Service on Apple online
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
- View the order details of the order containing the item(s) you would like to return
- Select the “Return items” link.
