iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Reviews Are Mostly Positive

Just two days before release, reviews for the new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max have hit the web – and they’re mostly positive. So much so Apple has highlighted a few of them which reveal there is strong praise for the new cameras, Night mode, and battery life.

Several media outlets around the world have been given early access to the new iPhones. Many of which have taken the opportunity to write their reviews, share their photos, and record some videos.

New Cameras

The Verge has gone on to say the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max has the “Best Camera I’ve seen in a phone”. While Refinery29 has said, “The best new feature is Night Mode, which pretty impressively brightens dark photos…”. Night Mode is also on the iPhone 11 and TechCrunch has added more by saying “it compares extremely well to other low-light cameras and the exposure and colour rendition is best in class, period.”.

The iPhone 11 features a dual-lens system while the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max has a three-lens system. They also feature a new chip called the A13 Bionic which plays an important role in delivering quality photos – including in Night Mode.

Battery Life

The A13 Bionic chip also helps deliver a much better battery life. And this did not go unnoticed by reviewers. The Wall Street Journal has said they have “The battery life we’ve been dying for”. While The Verge has also said, “They have excellent battery life, processors that should keep them relevant for years to come”.

The iPhone 11 has about 1 hour more battery than the previous iPhone XR. The iPhone 11 Pro lasts about 4 hours longer than the iPhone XS. But it gets even better with the iPhone 11 Pro Max – it lasts 5 hours longer over the previous iPhone XS Max.

Other Highlights

Praise of the new iPhones go beyond photography and battery life. Some have also loved:

  • Fast performance
  • “Beatuiful” Display
  • Price of the iPhone 11
  • Quality of the 4K video recording
