A new iPad Mini is not the only iPad announced overnight. With an all-new iPad Air too unveiled by Apple. Featuring a 10.5-inch display, high-end features and performance, all at a ‘breakthrough price’. Available for purchase in Australia at a starting price of A$779.
All-new iPad Air
The all-new iPad Air is very similar to what was previously the 10.5-inch iPad Pro. However, Apple has given it a big boost in performance with it now including an A12 Bionic chip with Apple’s Neural Engine. The result is a 70% increase in performance and twice the graphics power. Important numbers for running the many Apps which are available on the App Store. Including Microsoft Office, Procreate, and later in the year – Adobe Photoshop for iPad.
Apple has also improved the Retina display of the iPad. It is nearly 20% larger with over half a million more pixels than over the previous iPad Air (which had a 9.7-inch display). It also includes True Tone, a feature which allows the display to automatically adjust the cool/warm spectrum depending on the surrounding light.

Like the new iPad Mini, it too supports Apple Pencil. An optional accessory that allows you to do more creative and productive tasks on the iPad. Because it gives you more control and accuracy over your finger. For example, annotating in Microsoft Work, drawing in Procreate, or writing notes in the Notes app.
Pricing
In Australia, the all-new iPad Air is priced from A$779 with Wi-Fi. While Wi-Fi + Cellular models start from A$979. All models are available in three colours including Silver, Space Grey, and Gold. And two storage sizes, 64GB and 256GB.
