Apple has quietly added a new colour to the range of Sports Loop for Apple Watch – (PRODUCT)RED. Joining 8 other colours it is available in and the recently released new Hermes Apple Watch Band colour.
The new red colour option is an official (PRODUCT)RED product. This means a “portion of the proceeds from every (PRODUCT)RED purchase will go to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa.”. In the past, Apple has released other Apple Watch models, accessories, and iPhone models in (PRODUCT)RED.
Sports Loop Band
The Sports Loop is a soft, breathable and lightweight Apple Watch band. It features a hook-and-loop design for quick and easy adjustment. While the double-layer nylon weave has dense loops on the skin side. Apple explains this provides soft cushioning while allowing moisture to escape – important while exercising.
Two sizes are available which means there is a size available for all current and previous generation Apple Watch models. The 40-mm size will fit the previous 38-mm Apple Watch and new 40-mm Apple Watch Series 4. While the 44-mm size will fit, you guessed it, the previous 42-mm Apple Watch and new 44-mm Apple Watch Series 4.

In Australia, the (PRODUCT)RED Sports Loop is available at an RRP of A$79 with free delivery or in-store pickup from Apple online. Apple is also offering free returns on all purchases, including extended returns during Christmas.
