IMB Bank Brings Apple Pay Support To Their Customers

IMB Bank Apple Pay iPhone and Apple Watch

IMB Bank is the latest bank in Australia to enable support for Apple Pay. Allowing their customers to make secure and wireless payments from their Apple devices in stores and online.

To use Apple Pay with IMB Bank all you need is an IMB Visa Card and a compatible Apple device. This includes the iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. Once you do, simply set your card up with Apple Pay with the following steps:

  1. Open the Wallet app on iPhone
  2. Tap the “+” sign in the upper-right corner
  3. Follow the prompts
  4. Or tap “Add a different card” and use your iPhone camera to scan the card information

Alternatively, you can watch a video from IMB Bank on setting up Apple Pay here.

Once done you can make payments just about everywhere you can usually tap your card. All purchases are authorised with Face ID, Touch ID, or by entering your passcode. It is extremely secure because your card number is not shared or stored on your device.

IMB Bank joins a growing list of banks and unions which now support Apple Pay. You can browse a list of banks here. Although 3 of the ‘Big Four’ continue to refuse to bring the worlds most secure payment system to their customers. Including Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, and NAB.
