While not a significant update, Apple has today released a new iOS 11 software update for iPhone and iPad – iOS 11.4.1. While Apple TV, Apple Watch, and even HomePod have too received minor updates.

iOS 11 Update

iOS 11.4.1 for iPhone, iPad, and the iPod Touch is more an update to fix bugs and security. Apple has indicated in the release notes that it improves the reliability of Find My AirPods (Apple-designed wireless earphones). While Exchange accounts have received improvements with the syncing of mail, contacts, and notes.

The update can be downloaded and installed by going to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.

Other Updates

In addition, the Apple TV, Apple Watch, and HomePod, Apple’s wireless speaker for the home have all received minor software updates. However, details on what those updates include are limited.

Release notes for watchOS 4.3.2 for Apple Watch only mentions the update “includes improvements and bug fixes.”. You can learn how to update your Apple Watch here. Future Updates

It is possible this is the last update for iOS 11 because Apple has already announced the next significant updates to their products. This includes iOS 12, tvOS 12, watchOS 5, and macOS Mojave, all of which are currently being tested before release this Spring.
