A number of official Apple-designed Mac accessories is now available in a new colour, Space Grey. The Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2, and Magic Trackpad 2 can now all be purchased separately from Apple in either Silver for Space Grey.
Previously these were only available in Space Grey with the purchase of an iMac Pro, currently the most powerful Mac ever shipped. When it was announced, many of us fell in love with the matching space grey accessories. Upon launch, some went on eBay for hugely inflated prices.
Perhaps Apple realised the love for the colour (and demand). However, the iMac Pro remains the only desktop Mac available in Space Grey. It will be great to see the consumer-aimed iMac receiving the same colour as an option, for now, silver it is.
Pricing and Buying
You can purchase the Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2, and Magic Trackpad 2 separately from Apple’s online store. Each purchase will come with free delivery or pick-up and 14-day free returns around Australia. The Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad and Magic Trackpad 2 is priced at A$215 each. While the Magic Mouse 2 will set you back A$139.
