Apple has quietly increased the storage on all new iPod Touch models with a new starting price of A$299 in Australia but while doing so has discontinued the iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle.
The iPod Touch now starts at a 32GB storage configuration for A$299 with the larger configuration now 128GB for A$449. Previously the configurations were 16GB and 64GB.
All iPod Touch models are available in 6 colours, include a 4-inch Retina Display, and run iOS allowing you to install the same apps and games that are available on the iPhone.
Apple has also confirmed the iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle has been discontinued and are no longer for sale. This means the iPod Touch remains the last product in the iPod lineup.
