Apple has released certified refurbished 13.3-inch MacBook Pro models with the new Touch Bar and Touch ID for the first time in Australia, at large discounts. This comes after the release of 15-inch models just a few weeks ago.
All refurbished MacBook Pro models are sold directly from Apple from their online store. Every model has gone through Apple’s “Rigorous refurbishment process” and is covered by Apple’s 14-free returns policy and one-year warranty. It is one of the best ways to get a discount on a Mac directly from Apple.
Released in October 2016, the new MacBook Pro includes a new Retina Display, design, revolutionary new Touch Bar with Touch ID, USB-C ports, and 10-hours of battery life. Apple also includes the latest MacOS, along with free Apple-designed apps such as Pages, Numbers, iMovie, and more.
Pricing and Savings
Although not shown, all refurbished models are sold cheaper compared to new models. For example, the entry-level 13.3-inch MacBook Pro with Touch ID is available for purchase for A$2,289. Representing an A$410Â saving over the RRP of A$2,699.
