Apple has quietly cut the price of the new HomeKit-enabled Omna 180 HD Camera by D-Link by A$80 in Australia. It is now available for a new starting price of A$249.95 down from the previous A$329.95.
The D-Link Omna 180 Cam HD Camera allows you to monitor your home while away, wirelessly from an iPhone. It is capable of detecting motion from within the room of your home from a 180-degree wide-angle lens complete with night-vision.
By supporting HomeKit, Apple’s Home Automation Technology, you can access the Omna 180 Cam HD directly from the Home app on your iPhone or iPad. Even when you’re away from home. This also enables other automation, for example, being able to turn on HomeKit enabled lights (such as the Nanoleaf Aurora Wall Lights) to turn on automatically when the camera senses motion.
