New iMac to be available in Apple Retail, in limited colours

When the new 24-inch iMac becomes available, it will be available online and in selected retail stores. However, Apple has confirmed that only selected colours will be available in stores, while all will be online.

During its ‘Spring Loaded’ event, Apple unveiled the all-new iMac. Featuring a 24-inch display, ultra-thin design, powered by the Apple M1 Chip. But perhaps most catching of the new design is the seven vibrant colours its available in – green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver.

While all colours are available online, only specific colours will be available in stores, including Apple’s retail stores. Models in green, pink, blue, and silver will be available both in stores and online. All seven are available online.

Pricing and Availability

The new 24-inch iMac is now available for order for release around Australia in the second half of May 2021. However most models are now shopping extended delivery times, some now entering beginning of July.

Pricing starts at a recommended retail price (RRP) of A$1,899 for an entry-level model or A$2,499 for a high-end model. Pricing does vary depending on the model and configuration.

Students, teachers, and others eligible for Apple’s Educational Pricing can save up to A$150 off the recommended retail price. While still being eligible for free delivery and 14-day returns.
