Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR Release Date Updated

Apple has provided an update on when the new Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR will be released in Australia. With a confirmation that they will be available in “December” – but no specific date has been set.

The updated information was provided during the unveiling of the new 16-inch MacBook Pro. A new Mac notebook computer that is available from today. Apple went on to say the “all-new Mac Pro, the world’s best pro desktop, and Apple Pro Display XDR, the world’s best pro display, will be available in December.”

Mac Pro was unveiled earlier in the year during WWDC. A Mac that has been designed for maximum performance, expansion, and reconfigurability. Featuring workstation-class Xeon processors of up to 28 cores. High-performance memory with up to 1.5TB of capacity (insane). Eight PCIe expansion slots, and the world’s most powerful graphics card.

The Pro Display XDR, on the other hand, has been designed for the new Mac Pro. But also works with the new 16-inch MacBook Pro and more. It features a 32-inch Retina 6K display with P3 wide and 10-bit colour, 1,600 nits of peak brightness, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a super wide viewing angle.

Australian pricing has not yet been confirmed by Apple. But we do know the Mac Pro will be priced from US$5,999 in the United States. And US$4,999 for the Pro Display XDR.
