Updated LG UltraFine 5K Display Works with iPad Pro

Last updated:

Apple has begun selling an updated LG UltraFine 5K Display, one that is now compatible with the new iPad Pro and latest Macs. And arrives following the release of an updated 23.7-inch 4K version some weeks ago.

The display offers a ‘stunning’ 5120×2880 of 5K resolution with P3 wide colour, over 14.7 million pixels, at a size of 27-inches. The same display size of the iMac Pro and selected iMac models. Along with built-in stereo speakers, camera, microphone and three USB-C ports (5 Gbps).

Editing photos and videos, designing, and working with multiple apps would all be benefits of a monitor this size. And for the first time, it is compatible with new iPad Pro models. This is due to the fact the UltraFine 5K Display can now output video over USB-C. Allowing iPad Pro users use iPad Pro-compatible apps on the 5K display – perfect for sketching, drawing, and other apps.

Included in the box is a USB-C cable to connect a compatible device, including iPad Pro, Mac computers, and more. And when connected video, data and power are all done simultaneously.

Pricing

In Australia, the new LG UltraFine 5K Display is priced at a recommended retail price of A$1,889.95. And can be ordered from Apple’s online store with free, fast delivery and 14-day returns on all purchases.
