The latest and last season of Game of Thrones has now been added to the iTunes store in Australia. With a Season Pass now available for purchase giving you all past and future episodes and a documentary. Although episodes won’t be available until after the season has finished airing.
Season 8 of Game of Thrones is, at the time of writing airing around the world. With four episodes of the six-episode season having already been aired. Because Foxtel has exclusive rights to the series in Australia, episodes cannot be made available on iTunes – yet. I’ve covered this previously in an article about Streaming Season 8 on iOS and Apple TV.
On May 20th the final episode of the series will air. Which will be the day the exclusive rights held by Foxtel will end. Therefore, all episodes will then be made available on May 21st, 2019 on the iTunes Store. Allowing you to purchase the season and watch each episode in Full HD (1080p).
Pricing and Availability
Game of Thrones, Season 8 can be purchased in HD on the iTunes Store at a price of A$23.99. If you buy a Season Pass your purchase will also include the documentary Game of Thrones: The Last Watch. Which will be available on May 28th.
