iPhone Depth Control Feature Shown In New Apple Video

"Get the perfect amount of Blur"

Apple has released a new video on its YouTube channel which highlights Depth Control, a new photography feature on the new iPhone XS and iPhone XR. Which allows you to “get the perfect amount of blur” to your photos after they’ve been taken.

The video shows a girl in a rather chaotic city scene having her Portrait Photo being taken. A type of photo which automatically adds a blur behind the subject in the photo – In this case, being the girl.

However, as seen in the video, the amount of blur behind her can be easily adjusted with a feature called Depth Control. Giving you the ability to apply a subtle or dramatic blur. Which in this case, hides the chaotic scenes behind her. This can be done after the photo has been taken.

Depth Control was first introduced with iOS 12 on the new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and even the iPhone XR. Unfortunately, Apple has not enabled the feature on last years iPhone X, however, there are plenty of Apps on the App Store which give you the same feature.
