Apple has recently announced they are bringing their AirPlay 2 technology to a number of Smart TVs. With a number of leading TV manufacturers already announcing the integration, including Samsung.
AirPlay 2 is built into Apple devices such as Mac, iPhone, and more. It allows you to wirelessly share videos, photos, music, and more to Apple TV, speakers – and now smart TVs. For example, you can play a song in Apple Music from your iPhone, but the audio is wirelessly playing from your Smart Speaker with an AirPlay2-Enabled Speaker.

Recently, a number of TV manufacturers have announced AirPlay 2 in their new and previous TV models. Therefore, Apple has created a list of AirPlay 2-Enabled Smart TVs as follows:
LG
LG will be bringing AirPlay 2 to selected new 2019-model Smart TVs.

Samsung will be bringing AirPlay 2 to selected new 2019-model and previous 2018-model Smart TVs.

It is worth mentioning models released prior to 2019 will need to have a firmware/software update pushed out by the TV manufacture. This will vary, but should occur from early 2019. Separately to this, Samsung and Apple have also recently announced the iTunes Movies & TV Shows app is arriving to a selection of Samsung’s Smart TVs.
