Citi Bank and Suncorp Launch Apple Pay

Apple Pay, Apple’s contactless payment service has expanded further in Australia with the support of CitiBank credit cards and Suncorp debit cards. Citi and Suncorp join the ever-growing list of supported banks in Australia as we wait for CommBank, Westpac or NAb to bite the bullet and sign up.

This means people with a Citi Bank credit card or Suncorp Visa Debit card can make secure purchases in stores, with-in apps, and even on the web with iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and the Mac.

Why is Apple Pay important?

Apple Pay is the most secure way to pay, with your face or thumb replacing your PIN at the terminal. Your card details are never shared with Apple or the merchant when you shop in-store, in-app or online.
