Apple’s Return Policy, A Way To ‘Trial’ HomePod

HomePod in Space Grey inside home on shelf

HomePod, Apple’s first wireless smart speaker for the home has officially gone on sale and can now be purchased from Apple’s online store. But a number have been asking is there a way to trial the speaker?

Reviews are in and the sound quality is said to be “amazing” across the board. Given the type of product, some of us may be a little unsure about spending A$499 without hearing it first. Apple does not officially have a HomePod “trial”, but it does have a 14-day returns policy.

Apple Returns

This policy, which applies to all purchases made at Apple and Apple’s online store, is one of the best ways you can see if you like HomePod. This is because you can buy HomePod and use it for up to 14-days before having to return it, if you don’t end up liking it.

All returns are free and can be initiated online, at an Apple Store, or sent in the post. Terms and conditions do apply but generally, you have “up to 14 calendar days from the time you receive your item(s) to initiate a return.”.

Pricing

HomePod is available in either Space Grey and White and is priced at A$499 in Australia. You can learn more about HomePod and purchase one from Apple online.
