As we approach 2018, Apple Music is counting down the biggest artists of 2017 with Apple Music 100. Although it is more than just a 100-song playlist.
Apple Music 100
Apple Music 100 is presented by Beats 1 anchors Zane Lowe, Ebro Darden, and Julie Adenuga. Beats 1, is Apple Music’s 24/7 radio station which is part of the Apple Music streaming service. Therefore, the countdown is not just a 100-song playlist – it is a show. It brings short interviews with artists, breakthrough music, and commentary from the anchors.
The countdown also highlights some of the biggest events in music during 2017. Sadly, some of which has been as the result of tragedies and attacks. The bombing at Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester and the Las Vegas shooting which began when country music singer Jason Aldean was giving the closing performance is mentioned.
