New iPad Now Available For Pickup At Apple Stores Around Australia

Apple’s new 9.7-inch iPad can now be purchased online and picked up from Apple Retail Stores around Australia. The option comes after Apple began accepting orders online last week with the new special edition iPhone.

Apple Store Pickup is a free option where you can choose to pick up your Apple online purchase at an Apple Store of your choice rather then have it delivered. During the process of buying simply choose Pickup at checkout. Most orders will be ready to be collected with-in an hour, even weekends, however, you will be notified by email and/or SMS.

Unveiled in March, the new iPad features a bright 9.7-inch Retina Display, 64-bit performance, 10-hour battery life and runs iOS 10. Built into the iPad are a back and front facing cameras and Touch ID with support for Apple Pay, Apple’s payment service.

The entry-level 32 GB model is priced at just A$469, the lowest price-point for a new 9.7-inch iPad ever. Teachers and Students can also save A$30 off all new iPads with Apple’s Educational Pricing Offer.
