Apple Reveals Most Affordable 9.7-inch iPad, Starting at A$469

Apple has announced a brand new 9.7-inch iPad with a new display, great performance, all-day battery life, and more. The new iPad is priced in Australia from A$469, making it the lowest price for a 9.7-inch iPad ever.

Named simply iPad, it features a bright Retina Display, front and back-facing cameras, HD video recording, Touch ID including Apple Pay, and more. All while weighing in at less than 500 grammes for portability and all-day battery life.

iPad also comes with iOS 10 installed, the latest version of iOS. This includes new multitasking features such as split-view where you can now run two apps side-by-side at the same time. iPad is also capable of boosting productivity with Microsoft Office (including Word) now available for iPad.

Australian Pricing

The new iPad is available in a number of configurations including three colours, storage sizes, and Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + Cellular connectivity. It starts at A$469 for 32GB storage with Wi-Fi and A$669 for cellular 3G/4G LTE connectivity.
