Apple Announces Apple Music Student Membership, Saving You 50% Off The Monthly Price

Apple have announced a new Apple Music membership plan designed for students, bringing the complete Apple Music experience for a price that is 50% off the full individual membership. It’s the first time Apple have offered student pricing to Apple Music – Apple’s music streaming service.

Students enrolled in qualifying universities or colleges can join Apple Music at a discounted monthly rate.

Available in a number of countries including Australia, the discounted student membership will bring the monthly price of A$11.99 down to just A$5.99 for up to a total of 48 months (4 years) – equating to a saving of A$287. The maximum time of 4 years does not need to be continuous, which is great for those who may defer their studying or choose to study for short courses every few years.

  2. I am a teacher at a High School in Kiama NSW, Australia and wish to subscribe to Apple Music. I tried to sign up using the link for a free trial as a student but I was told that Kiama High School did not qualify for students. I am not sure how I should have applied as a teacher so could you tell me how to go about it please.
    Cheers…. Don Wilkinson
