Apple have made the popular iPad Air 2 more affordable by dropping the price by a hundred dollars in Australia, giving the iPad a new entry-level price of A$599. The price drop comes as Apple have announced a new addition to the iPad range – the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
The iPad Air 2 has been one of the most powerful and well rated iPads available. It features a 9.7-inch Retina Display, 64-bit A8X chip giving 12x more CPU performance and 180x faster graphics speeds than the original iPad, a thin 6.1mm aluminium design, all day battery life and supports the new iOS9.3 release.
The iPad Air 2 remains in the iPad range alongside the iPad Mini and iPad Pro, Apple have discontinued the iPad Air 1 with the announcement of the new iPad Pro. The new iPad Pro includes a new 9.7-inch Retina Display, A9X chip, 12-megapixel iSight camera and has support for the Apple Pencil and a Smart Keyboard designed just for it.
