It’s been a while since Apple have updated their iPod range however today that’s changed with updates to the range being announced this morning. The iPod Touch get’s the most love with a brand new model announced which includes new colours, updated A8 chip, Apple Music and a brand new 8 megapixel camera.

The new iPod Touch plus the iPod Nano and the small iPod Shuffle (which keep their same design) have received a new palette of colours including space gray, silver, gold, pink and blue.

New iPod Touch
The Apple iPod Touch is very similar to the iPhone (just without the phone part) in terms of a touch screen, super thin design, iOS for Apps & games and Apple Music.
Much of the design remains as it has been, there’s really no reason for the design to change it’s already great. We do have new colour options with the iPod Touch a new space grey, blue, silver, pink and gold.
Apple have given a refresh to what’s inside the new iPod Touch, first the camera has been upgraded from 5 megapixels to 8 to match the iPhone 6/6 Plus. Secondly the chip is now 64-bit which in simple terms will make the iPod Touch run much faster with smoother graphics – perfect for those Apps and games. Thirdly if you love storage you’ll be happy to learn a 128 GB model now exists with the iPod Touch available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models.
The iPod Touch will now also be better with fitness tracking with the chip now able to count your steps and even elevation.
