Telstra Network
Remember The new iPad will not work on any LTE network in Australia. But there is some good news.
The Telstra Mobile Network is Australia’s largest mobile network. It’s also Australia’s fastest national mobile network and features HSPA+ Dual Channel 3G connectivity providing super-fast download speeds that are up to twice as fast as speeds available on other Australian 3G networks, providing fast access to the cloud, smoother online video streaming and speedy web browsing. Customers with a Telstra HSPA+ Dual Channel-compatible device, such as new iPad, can experience typical download speeds of 1.1Mbps – 20Mbps in all capital CBD’s, airports, much of the associated metropolitan areas and many regional areas covering more than 60 per cent of the population, and in other areas speeds will be less.
